im not chinese i wouldnt know the documentary is not about chinese it is about all minority groups and their experiece in jamaica if you watch this you would find this out. i have never been to your nation i make no judgements watch the documentary for the perspective here.

Guyana had racial riots in 1964 ;;;;;like yours in 1965 !
Difference ?
indians were close to 50 % of the population.
chinese were less than 1 % in Jamaica...

and everything I wrote the chinese jamaican in the doc , said
Unbelieveable....
They did not assimilate , they did not give back to the community ..
they just milked it , took de money and ran !
Eerily similar to Guyanese chinese....

hence the reason i said watch the program rather than chuck ad hominem attack at me and the documentary, try to pay attention before you judge something.

out of many one people is something more people embrace than from what i have seen in other caribbean nations like Haiti so from my out look Jamaica is more excepting when i compare it to my time in other nations but yes i agree that people who throw this term around tend to ignore many other aspects of Jamaican life and society.
