The West Indies are expecting to be without all-rounder Darren Sammy for the remainder of their tour of New Zealand.
Sammy sat out the third one day international in Queenstown with a hamstring injury suffered in the warm-up.
Captain Dwayne Bravo says they don't expect him to play a further part.
"Sooner or later he'll be going back home with his family but it's sad because he brings so much for the team and has the ability to hit the ball long. He's the only one that we have in the team that can actually do that for us at the moment."
A team official says no decision has yet been reached over sending Sammy home, however.
Opener Chris Gayle who missed the tests and one day internationals with a hamstring injury will also sit out the Twenty20 series.
Meanwhile, Tim Southee's likely to return for the Black Caps in tomorrow's fourth one day in Nelson after recovering from toe surgery.

that being the case I expect that things will continue going downhill until the game collapses in the region as an organized entity. and that wont be long now from all appearances

Thought Sammy was injured in the test series but a loss considering the other personnel loss.
Did I read his family is there? Are all the players families there?
I am sure the West Indies will come back fighting tonight.
