He says that without people coming through the turnstiles and paying their money, there is no game, and players must entertain. It is a view that players such as Kevin Pietersen and Virender Sehwag would almost certainly approve of, not to mention Sobers' successors as West Indies captain, Brian Lara and Chris Gayle. Sobers knew a thing or two about entertaining himself after a career which saw him develop a reputation as a world-class all-rounder whose versatility and skill in so many fields has been unmatched since. Our Administration does not buy in to that concept ! no one is showing up at Games.
