It's been a remarkable first day, and England will need to regroup dramatically overnight if they are to avoid slumping to their fourth loss in a row to India,

"Jimmy equalled Jumbo's record right? why no one is talking about that?"
-- It was mentioned when it happened, but yes, they're both on 619 now.

Anderson to Kohli, OUT and he gets Kohli first ball! Wow!
On the fuller side of a length, in the corridor, and Kohli stretches out to defend,
he may have wanted to leave that possibly, but it wasn't that wide either.
Edges it, and this time it carries at a comfortable height for Buttler

Kohli averages like 12 vs Anderson in the UK.
Anderson's due for retirement soon; I hope he goes out on a bang.

Anderson to Rahul, dropped! Joe Root at first slip! Shortish,
a bit of width, a bit of away swing and Rahul goes for the cut and gets
a thick edge that carries just over head height to Root. He gets both hands to it
and it pops out. Rahul survives his second dropped chance
