OPINION - Nobody is more patriotic about Guyana than dem Guyanese living OUTSIDE of Guyana. ???
Lemme ask y’all Guyanese who living outside of Guyana legally or hiding pon ICE, something:
If Guyana is truly in her “golden era of development” with the “fastest growing economy in the world” then why don’t y’all move back here?
Come home to:
?? The land of daily nationwide blackouts compliments of GPL
?? Rusty and low water pressure.
?? Public transportation that can sometimes feel hazardous to your health, with fares that seem to have no ceiling.
?? Internet outages from Wi-Fi to mobile services.
?? Concerns about crime and a justice system that jails you for weed and let murderers walk free
?? University graduates struggling to find suitable employment.
?? Roads that are built today and breaking up tomorrow.
?? Contracts being handed to people who never held a hammer in their life.
?? Overcrowded public hospitals and long waiting times for some services.
?? Poor drainage and flooding after heavy rainfall, especially in low-lying communities.
?? Garbage collection problems and illegal dumping in some areas.
And that’s just the beginning. The list is long.
Ironically, some of the same people celebrating Guyana’s supposed transformation from thousands of miles away are people who once left because of many of these very problems. So I dare all y’all in America both those with legal status and those with expired visas with keyboard courage to put your money where your patriotic mouth is.
Come back home and live here!??
Come experience this “golden era” firsthand.
Because it’s easy to celebrate development from the comfort of another country and cuss and fight people on Facebook who disagree because we are living here. It’s another thing entirely to live through the realities of the country you’re celebrating and I can bet my last dollar you’d move and fly back instantly!

Guyana nice bai... A land only in kitty selling for 345 million.
In 2020 I buy my land fuh 8 million 4 lots away from it.
