NSW paceman Doug Bollinger has been suspended for the Blues' next one-day Cup match after accidentally striking a Queensland batsman with the ball during his side's loss to the Bulls on Thursday.

Cricket Australia issued a statement saying former Test quick Bollinger was reported for "throwing a ball at or near a player or player support personnel in an inappropriate and/or dangerous manner during a match."

It was understood to relate to an incident where Bollinger made a wild throw at the stumps when fielding off his own bowling, only to hit the Bulls batsman on strike.

Dougie you cheeky sod.

Anyways wonder if he'd ever make his way back into Oz side. At least ODI side.
