The Muslims dietary  practices are copied from the Jewish Torah namely ... Kosher . The Muslims called it Halal

For your education ,Jews only us the Filet Mignon part of the Cow (the rest is NOT kosher)

I am a Hindu woman carrying the baby of a Jewish man.

I just found out I am having a boy and am now contemplating circumcision.

However, there is a strong cultural bias against circumcision among Hindus, due mostly to its association with Muslims

So, am I right to privilege religious law over cultural customs and plan to circumcise my son ?

[/quote] You wrong . I did many Bar Mitvah  and Kosher Banquets and they eat Sirloin  steaks , Top  Sirloin , Roast beef , Pot  roast and hip of beef  in addition  to Fillet minion
