Regional Chairman, Mr David Armogan, when contacted, stated that he too is fed up with the road situation. The Ministry of Works, he said, has taken over the project and the ball is in their court. He said that stemming from yesterday’s incident, he has given a small contract to Kris Jagdeo contractors who will fill up the major holes with crusher run, but nevertheless said that the more major works to be executed will have to be done by the Ministry.
One canecutter said that “this road is a health hazard!†“With people lives being endangered, like nobody ain’t gonna do anything! I could remember the residents protest about this road and from then to now, nothing has been done! Yesterday afternoon, this truck nearly toppled with us in this same hole, so nobody ain’t doing nothing!â€
dat bobbice canecutters more eloquent than New York canecutters ? ::redface::

Nah...that canecutters can also be very articulate. In Banam days plenty very educated Indos had to cut cane because of the blatant racism and discrimination...where was Freddie then?
According to stabroek news the driver of the truck a Mr Lee Fung claimed that he was aware of the crater but assumed that the truck was powerful enough to over the obstacle . This is the sixth accident that Mr Fung was involved with this year
Googs...is Mr. Fung related to you??? ::rofl:: ::rofl:: ::rofl::
Razz...and now if you take this case to court you will surely lose. Chineee man and potholes make a dangerous combination...and this is a chupid Chinee to be involved this many times in a pot-hole...he is like a pot-holer.
