[/size][size=12px]Single mothers are losing their jobs and Trinidad as a tourist destination is being negatively affected since police imposed strict no-parking measures at the Hi-Way Roti Shop on the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway, Freeport.So says the owner, Ganness Bhagwandeen, 66.[/size][size=12px]On Monday, Freeport police placed several no-parking signs on the lay-by in front of the roti shop. This came after a massive smash-up on Friday in which a Nissan dump truck veered off the highway and slammed into 12 cars parked outside. Luckily all the drivers and passengers were in the roti shop at the time.[/size][size=12px]Bhagwandeen, however, believes the location of his shop had nothing to do with the accident. Speaking at the shop yesterday, which was devoid of customers, Bhagwandeen said accidents took place all over the highway and Friday’s accident was not the fault of his customers. He said there was no way his business could have affected the flow of traffic on the highway.[/size][size=12px]“We have been operating here over 30 years now and this is the first time there has been an accident here. I think it was total carelessness on the part of that driver. an guyanese Indian complained about the high prices of Roti in Trinidad.  Redbaron replied "look who buy it!  Indians eat roti at home"
