I have always suspected this

... but as with every advantage there are drawbacks and one of them is that your IQ is inversely proportional to your weight. ie. the more you gain weight the lower your IQ score  .

I don't think a high iq matters

It's not true that overweight people live longer. The research is obviously a con.
When is the last time you went to the funeral of an old overweight person?

Overweight people may live longer, but they live crappier lives.
Its kind of a quality over quantity kind of thing.
