But the picture for Black Americans is in the opposite direction. The rate of UNDER-employment for Blacks has INCREASED from 16% in 2009 to 20% at the end of 2012. This represents a 25% WORSENING in the rate of Black underemployment during Obama’s first term in office from 2009 through 2012.
Moreover, the true extent of Black misery in the workplace is not reflected in these statistics. At least 2 million Blacks are in prison and unable to seek employment. Half of these Blacks are there for non-violent drug offenses. If these 2 million Blacks were out of jail, living in their communities, and unable to find full time work, the Black underemployment rate would be 30%.

I think you  do not understand class in society..social divisions that are based on the relationship of social group to the money or the system of production in the society..how they came to be and the war between them to maintain and advance their class/group positions.

you also do not appreciate where skin colour intersects with class and its impact.

you also do not understand Farakhan.  farakhan has done something but not nearly as much as he could have done.  he has avoided doing far greater than he could and questions pop up like why..maybe he was threatened and prevented from doing so.

should the nation have been targeted like the Panthers there is no way the NOI could have survived.  similarly if they wanted to, or want to kill farakhan they cant be stopped or prevented.  the power of the american state is supreme so far.

so farakhan must have been told what his limits are. 

one of the reason for the million man march was to save farakhans life one can guess.  by demonstrating the enormous influence and power he had in the black comunity, they could not kill him.  but forces were gathering for farakhan was proving to be a thorn.

yet man.... the MAN is going to kill us anyway so what choice do we have.  none really but to go out and do what must be done and be prepared to fight to the death.  dont sit back and be picked off slowly until you cant fight back
