The Commission for Re-Establishment of Baseball in T&T (CROBTT) will bring former Major League Baseball player Elias Lugo to T&T to pass on his knowledge as part of the baseball in T&T project.
CROBTT is aiming to revamp the sport in T&T with courses and clinics geared towards teaching individuals about the sport free of charge.
The training course, which begins on May 30, is targeting anyone who has an understanding of the game and interested in improving their knowledge.
This course will include classroom and field sessions.
The classroom session runs from 9 am to 5 pm at the Venezuelan Embassy, Victoria Avenue, Woodbrook, and another in Chaguanas.
After the classroom session, individuals will be able to showcase their skills in a three-day field session from May 31 to June 2 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Queen’s Park Savannah. There is limited space for the course and registration has already begun.
Young and old are then invited to participate in a coaching clinic on June 8 and 9 beginning at 10 am.
All interested persons aged seven and up are welcome to the sessions at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
