Tim Tebow gets desired situation with Patriots

Don’t hold your breath expecting Tim Tebow to play tight end, fullback, H-back or something similar as a New England Patriot, says Tebow’s quarterback guru.

"The first place he said he needed to go to was a place like New England," Steve Clarkson, the renowned quarterback coach who tutored Tebow earlier this year, told Sporting News on Monday night, hours after Tebow’s agreement to play for the Patriots was reported.

Clarkson said Tebow told him that in March, which was the last time he had spoken to Tebow, after working with him on an “assessment” of his throwing mechanics in February. Tebow was released by the Jets on April 29.
