Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni's son has denied that Uganda is a "political monarchy" in which his father will hand the reins of power to him.
However, Brigadier Muhoozi Kainerugaba did not rule out harbouring presidential ambitions, saying Ugandans would choose the next leader.
These are his first comments since a row broke out in May over claims that he is being groomed to succeed his father.
Elections are due in Uganda in 2016.
Renegade General David Sejusa fled to the UK after alleging that Mr Museveni planned to hand power to Brig Kainerugaba.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Uganda should stop intervening in the DR Congo civil war. Militiamen from Uganda and Rwanda are very active in the Kivu region. Apart from that, I think Museveni senior has done a good job in his home country.

interesting 007! you understate the case by great orders of magnitude! 6 million are dead since 1996 and continuing, according to Judy/American controlled UN reportage..by which announcement I judge that the real numbers are much greater.
depopulation anyone ::confused::
Musaveni's involvement in the DRC is not just an intervention. it is one of the very greatest crimes in all human history. along with Paul Kagame we have a tandem whose hands are so red with human blood they can never be washed free of the stain
Paul Kagame over the past 15-20 years has never been happy and content save when he is killing africans. that is all he has been doing over that time..murdering his own people.
I am a black man myself and this to me is truly stunning..one of the great tragedies in human history. and Judy's global media refuse to say a word about it.
interesting!

Have to disagree with you on Kagame. He was the one who stopped the Rwandan genocide, which was actively supported by the French "peacekeepers". Have to give credit for that.
However, his role in the DRC civil war is nothing short of shameful.

I do't know 007...he appears to be he western man on he ground..the one who colluded to start the trouble in the shooting down of that plane with the prime minister aboard.
from the reports I read some time ago Kagame' was the main African figure in the comes' the collusion to produce genocide...and has been the main beneficiary of it.
but I am losing tract of that issue and so I will go back into those reports. I don't want to forget that history
