Egyptian Army Gives Morsi 48 Hours

On Monday afternoon, Egypt's Supreme Council of the Armed Forces issued a 48-hour ultimatum to President Mohammed Morsi "to meet the demands of the people" or it will intervene. Sunday marked a year to the day after Morsi's inauguration as Egypt's first democratically elected president. The Islamist president came to power following the 2011 Egyptian revolution that brought down former President Hosni Mubarak. Now, the same crowds that flooded Cairo's Tahrir Square in 2011 are calling for Morsi's removal.

ABC's Alex Marquardt reports the crowd is going nuts out on Tahrir Square as military helicopters do flyovers low over the crowd. First, we saw five military helicopters flying in straight formation, then individual Apaches one at a time. Three times, the Apache pilots tilted and waved at the crowd. A police helicopter did the same earlier.

The crowd  is jubilant, clearly feeling military is on their side and that's the only thing that can be deduced from this amazing display.

Morsi still enjoys considerable support in the rural areas. The protests are mostly limited to the secular-dominated cities like Cairo an Alexandria.

Remember the fact that during the last election, more than two-third of the Egyptians voted for hardliner Islamist parties.

Good  riddance to Morsi , he decided to throw in his lot with the Zionists , wahabis and Salafists. He closed the Raffah crossing thus punishing the Palestinians in Gazza and breaking diplomatic relations with Assad and the Syrian govt supporting the criminal terrorists against Assad .
Payback time for him and Erdogan of Turkey

GOOD RIDDANCE INDEED

The incredibly massive June 30 protests of millions in dozens of cities across Egypt exceeded expectations of supporters and adversaries alike. The protest demands were “to withdraw confidence in President Mohamed Morsi, to uphold the goals of the revolution and to call for early presidential elections.”

Despite hundreds of thousands of Morsi supporters rallying in Cairo on the same day, there can be no doubt that the one-year old Muslim Brotherhood government is under siege.

The opposition Tamarod (Rebel or Rebellion in Arabic) June 30 protests clearly marks a new and higher stage of the revolution, distinguished not just by their enormous size but by their far-reaching popular demands.

“We reject you,” Tamarod petitions signed by millions declared emphatically before each phrase, “…Because Security has not been established; …Because the deprived have still no place to fit; …Because we are still begging loans from the outside; …Because no justice has been brought to the martyrs; …Because no dignity was left neither for me nor for my country; …Because the economy has collapsed and depends only on begging and,…Because Egypt is still following the footsteps of the United States.”

Indeed I was.  but god I am not..so I don't know what's involved in all things.  I can only do the best I can and be wrong at times like everybody else

wrong I was about Morsi and the Brotherhood.

but I have no problems at all changing when I become aware of being wrong..as quickly as I can!
