no no! there were at least 2 million people on the streets by western estimates...in response to the call to kick Morsi out. by my estimate 5-6 million.
almost verified now is the 22 million signatures the Tamarod claims they got. that's a quarter of the egyptian population. even if 10 million..half that's 1/eight f the population.
that is representative man. you cant get more representative than that.
remember as I have asked before that the real revolution is still to come. this is just preliminaries. they army must go. that there threatens a serious blood bath soon enough.
the brotherhood in their stupidly refused to consolidate the electoral process by being patient, working on the economy with an independent perspective, establishing good governance etc.
that was the dam thing to have done. that was their responsibility..fools. that would really have given the revolution a chance ultimately...without too much blood on the streets.
that's why I have so much contempt for religion and the religious. a stupid, sectarian extreme religious program is what is responsible for the army being back in power. dam fools

I am beginning to believe that Arabs and democracy are not compatible , they prefer strong brutal leadership . The moment a liberal democracy is introduced by the west as in Libya, Iraq or indigenous as in Egypt , a blood bath inevitably follows against the minorities , be it Coptic Christians or Shia.
I suggest that they leave these people alone and let Allah sort it all out
