Manisha Koirala ovarian cancer survivor! an inspiration

The cancer survivor is radiating positive spiritual vibes, as she starts her life’s new journey

When Manisha Koirala announced about a year ago that she had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, shockwaves shimmered through the film industry. But only a few of her close friends stood by her, and she soon realised the importance of true friendship and family support.

The actor shifted to New York for treatment, turned deeply spiritual before her surgery and stayed so through the course of her chemotherapy sessions. All the while, the cancer survivor shared her thoughts and spiritual learning as also pictures and videos through her social networking sites.

Manisha is back in India now, and just happy to be staying at her Mumbai home. The actor, who wowed audiences with wonderful performances in films like Dil Se, Bombay, Agnisakshi and Lajja, to name a few, is still on a spiritual trip and visited saint Sai Baba’s Shirdi temple and also a church recently.

Manisha shared more pictures of her bald avatar and looked very much like a rather pretty monk in a red saree, although it was not her intention to look good, wethinks. The divinity is rubbing off on her and adding to her mystique, apart from showing what wonders a positive attitude can do.
