U.S. Secures Spot in 2014 World Cup
The United States men's soccer team beat Mexico 2-0 Tuesday night, clinching its seventh straight World Cup appearance. Things seemed uncertain during the first part of the match until Eddie Johnson scored a header in the 49th minute. Once news broke that Honduras tied Panama 2-2, the U.S. team was officially able to look forward to Brazil. "Obviously this is a huge, huge evening for all of us," U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann said. "It's a huge milestone whenever you make it to a World Cup." Brazil, here we come!
