yuh have dem to study! water in TT just like Toronto and public transportation.
they wont build the facilities for the people. that's all there is to it...Government not building what they have always known they must build for whatever exploitative reason..and the people suffering as a result
I don't know of any bankster controlled political process that takes building public services seriously..also the provisions of public services like pensions, unemployment insurance, health and education, worker protection n the workplace.
if a profit for the big boys cant be readily made in something deh don't care.
look at this:
www.thestar.com/news/gta/transportation/...eve_crush_hour.html#
deh shud have subways criss-crossing metro by now..into mississauga, vaugh, markham and pickering... but they grudgingly extended scarboro, yonge and spadina some chump distances over 40 freaking years.. while the population has expanded and expanded and expanded..the developers building and building and building.. and no transport increase..or none that matters.
deh looking to sell cars you see..cars and gas. so we end up with gridlock on the streets and gridlock underground..massive crush everywhere.
they dont care I tell you. its the people who suffer not them. and even when they grudgingly build a mile or so of subway its a billion dollars per foot, 10 billion to the mile..all put on public debt to the banksters
if Kamla dem had no water to drink and piss in deh wud find water very quickly. as long as its the ordinary people involved deh cyan wait..for 2-3 generations, who cares.
I left Trinidad 43 years ago and there was little water for the people. we would get 2 hours per day. now 43 years and 2 oil booms later, with hundreds of billions USD having flowed through TT coffers, Ganga Singh talking the same shite as kamaludhin Mohammed spoke 50 plus years ago, citing what are no doubt are lies to demonstrate improvement under Kamla.
50 plus years at 18% and suddenly under Kamla we have almost 3 times increase in water supply. nutten in TT works like that..especially with a government that has not revoutionsied the TT and the way things are done. lies from start to finish.
there is enough water in TT for the population. its to get the government to build the means of collection, treatment and delivery.
or maybe they holding development in check until they can privatise water to some corporation to come gouge the people further.
