Ashmit Patel as a suitor for Mallika Sherawat?

Sources say that Ashmit Patel wanted to be one of the contestants vying to be Mallika Sherawat’s partner in the upcoming show Bachelorette India – Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika on life ok. “He had approached the channel to be accepted as a contestant, but was told that only the common man and not celebrities can participate,” says a source from the channel

Ashmit laughed it off and denied the incident. However, a source close to Ashmit says that it’s true that he had approached the channel, though it was not to be a participant. “He wanted to go on the show as a friend of Mallika and also to promote his and Veena Malik’s film that releases this week. Well, since the show is starting only on October 7 and his film is releasing now, wonder what is the connection. Go figure!
