Man, 33, shot in Brampton

The shooting happened on Ecclestone Drive, near the intersection of Main Street and Bovaird Drive. Police say the victim, a 33-year-old man, was able to call 911 himself.

Emergency crews rushed him to hospital and he was taken into surgery later on Sunday morning.

Peel police continue to investigate the shooting.
