Brazil to Exhume Former Presidents
Apparently Latin America is the worst place to rest in peace. Continuing a recent trend in the region, Brazil is exhuming two former presidents, João Goulart and Juscelino Kubitschek, as claims come out that the two were assassinated in 1976. The move follows a Chilean judge recently ordering the exhumation of Pablo Neruda due to assertions that he was poisoned, as well as remains thought to be of executed former president Francisco Caama ño of the Dominican Republic. The trend is not entirely new— Hugo Chávez famously dug up the remains of Simon Bolivar in 2010 to try and prove Colombians poisoned the Liberator.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
