India is home to almost half of the world's slave population. A report released this week called the Global Slavery Index found an estimated 13.95 million people in India are victims of forced labor.

Bullshit story . The greatest amount of slaves are in the good old USof A.
what is the difference with those slaves picking cotton for food, housing and clothing and the present low wage earners with no health care who although working cannot afford  the basics of life . 
These are working slaves who are a paycheck away from starvation
