It's hilarious how this post has 10 times more replies than the other posts. Came here looking for a nice debate. I can definitely I'm not disappointed.
I remember I had this professor in college who kept repeating in every single class that women should not have equal rights (I'm in law school) and every girl in the classroom just stood up and left ;D

I think all people should have respect for each other because when respect is there, we are all equal. And that's what's missing nowadays, respect. There is no respect for the elderly, the women, the parents, it's like gone out the window. We are all equals that's for sure, but do we have respect for other people despite their gender, social status or race? WE can have EQUALITY when we RESPECT each other.

Even though women have thier rights and surely should have them, men must always be leaders. Women are never interested in unassertive guys or those who are kind of unsure with their intentions. So, a femle could choose the right leader for her.

No, but I say this only because since the beginning of time, man and woman has always thought differently, and it has always been up to man to make the right choices for both men and women. Before women were given equal rights in America, things were not so bad. Now? Look at what they have done! Same with the UK and France. When you give women rights and power, they still approach and treat that power like women do and how women think, which is incompatible with what is needed to make the right decisions and choices in nature and in the world completely. This is why man needs woman, and woman needs man, because they complete a cycle in nature and have a role to do in it. Man's role is to make the decisions and carry things out with wisdom. It is woman's role to ensure the survival of man's seed, and to support him in those decisions, while it is his role to care for, take care of, and love her while she does. This is how it was supposed to be, and how it used to be. But now, it is different. Now it is women trying to be men and men trying to be women, and the world is falling apart because of it. It is unnatural to do this.
Women never needed rights, because men were eager to take care of them and give them more benefits than those rights would when they were loyal and decent to them by majority! There are still some good and intelligent women who care for their men and understand this, but I fear that because of the corruption and influences of other societies, nations that have existed for many centuries or even thousands of years are starting to fall like America because they've allowed the traditions and ideals of those places to sneak in, and start changing their women, their rules, and their lifestyles.

Yes, I believe women should have equal rights. Many mothers have had to take on extremely important roles like being the father for their children because some fathers have transferred these responsibilities to them. Therefore, if mothers can be burdened with tasks that fathers should be responsible for, why should they be denied equal rights?
