Belinda Stronach didn't agree with Harper's plan to use the vote on :

the proposed Liberal budget to bring down the government !!


Socafighter , the chief Budget picongist was gonna give us the low down but alas !  :-\

On this much, everybody agrees: on Thursday, May 12, 2005 ;

Stronach ran into former Liberal premier of Ontario David Peterson at a social event.

She described her growing frustrations.

They spoke again the next day about her options, including the possibility of her leaving politics

altogether. Then Peterson called Paul Martin's chief-of-staff, Tim Murphy,

to float the possibility of her switching teams. Murphy, stunned, agreed.

He approached the Prime Minister, and a deal was struck.

On Tuesday, May 17, Stronach would cross the floor :

and assume the role of minister for human resources and skills development

and minister for democratic renewal.

dang!  yuh well into it eh!

I am getting a lot  from Plamondon..and I got Martin.  I will return to them tonite...

yet there is an elephant in the room and I get no sense of it's presence in both authors so far.

that is another reason why I lost interest.... no one talks about the elephant yet it was always there. 

just look at Harper today and his expressed loyalties and the policies of his government and the elephant is unmistakably present...and dominant, sitting on everybody
