Oh how I wished I had kept that thread now I don't remember but
Some one posted some info about a project in Guyana a few weeks ago, I was curious .
You posted why would someone one invest in the West Indies ,I gave a brief explanation.
I asked if you knew the law firm involved and you said no.
I asked one of our law student check out the rumor . she came up with this one , but its Oil related
and being handled by a Law Firm In Ottawa and Hong Kong .
A few more showed up but they were local in BC, handled by a large law firm in Vancouver .
Nothing in Montreal , nor Toronto . So if such a deal is happening it would be Vancouver BC or Ottawa. Will see what comes up , its very quiet . Often the word get around.

Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

The CHINESE imported from of late to Guyana have been raping our nation's natural resources. bribing their way to get prime locations in and around Georgetown as well as hundreds of hectares of native lands in remote areas. while they importing cheap 99¢ items and selling them at 10 times the price to local stores as well as the general consumers.

Maybe the simple fact escape you. The truth is the PPP/Guyanese current leaders are taking bribes like its going out of style and they are giving preferential treatment to the Chinese (and Indians from India) at the expense of the local population, giving away hundreds of acres of land of ancestral lands (natives land). at the end of the day the Chinese (and the Indians) will be the most hated people in Guyana (by the local people). something's got to give.
