my Berbice friend is married to a guy from India and she has gone there many times

she told me that for breaky......everything served is fried foods!!  :shocked:

even vegetables and their chappattis (rotis) are cooked with plenty plenty oil

and that she lived on fruits and plain rice for days

plus....plenty indians gat diabetes....but I don't think that many of them really take care themselves and their illness.

trust me - in that hot sun...all that oil is burned out 

that is.....if you have the energy to move about in that hot sun!!

another thing.....hubby withers in the heat!!

hence the lazy vacations on the beach!  :cool:

i hate the heat myself - but if its a once in a lifetime opportunity - you do it
