Harold Washington the great black mayor of Chicago was such a victim.  they gave him a heart attack.
Chavez in Venezuela was another. even NDP Jack Layton in Canada is a suspected victim.

if one looks around..rather do the research one sees lots of people who were likely victims of such assassination.  common denominator is their social position in life.:  they fought the system and their lives are examples to lesser and greater extent for everyone, of how to really live life..progressive, positive and opposed to the destructive systematic way we now live.

they often stand on piles of gold that the killers want.  or like Harold Washington who was building a black dynastic mayoral control in Chicago, just like Daley family had previously done in Chicago for a couple of generations.

the black population of Chicago had become an electoral majority and Washington ws the man who jack knifed them into a collective that was expected to be realized in perpetual black domination of Chicago.

Washington 'dies' and all that evaporated..transcended right back into Daley family control of a black majority city...to currently with Rahm Immanuel as mayor using the cops to beat the hell out of black people in Chicago..open street lynchings by the police as a daily affair.

Since Washington there has not been one single black leadership figure of any quality at all that can get the black vote to work for the black population of Chicago.  the Chicago black leadership has sold out and now facilitate white control of Chicago.

that is how it goes...all the time...targeted assassination for purposes of money/profits, and social control.

I don't know if Prince/Michael beyond any reasonable doubt, were in fact killed, assassinated...but it sure looks like it from my vantage
