Michael Jackson and now Prince…. With many songs composed with Prince and various other artist locked away in a vault never have been heard by the public. This man’s music to still come after his passing will only extend his legacy. Once the tracks are distributed Prince will cross the billions in after life music sales.

It's an incredible amount of money, and hopefully an incredible amount of money tha goes to good causes. Most of us wont even get to experience 0.1% of that money in our lifetime regardless of our contributions to humanity.

I have read that Michael Jackson was in debt before he died. But after his death, his mansion has been paid off and he is continuously earning money. By this time, his three children has about 100 million dollars each if they liquidate their father's assets. I just wish that his money truly goes to good causes and won't be used by greedy relatives (we all have those).
Anyway, I'm just glad that his children are in good places now as well. And maybe, if they're old enough, they can put this billions of dollars to good use. I do think that their father has contributed so much to the music industry and this is just delayed payment for those contributions.

Prince and Michael both worth far more dead than alive to the record vultures..I mean companies.
from Michael the vulture now get back his very valuable possessions through 'his' white children who get his whole fortune. they have none of his DNA but the courts insist that they control.
they get Michael's musical vault. Visions of sugar plums dance in their heads.
same with Prince. worth more dead that alive.
that realization is very suggestive indeed. "who benefits from the death ::confused::"
we think Princes death was by accident but that too could have been planned out and orchestrated to look the way it did..an accident. it was the easiest thing to do the way I look at it.
and I put nothing beyond the money junkies. they can do and do do any dam thing they want to get whatever the hell it is they want.. the life of anyone anyone at all does not matter to dem.
Prince alive had outlived his usefulness to the music 'industry' dead that is a different matter altogether. Billions indeed!

dem muthers had trademarked Princes name...so that they owned any dam thing that happened under his name...all and everything that could be sold for a buck
can you beat that...take a man's name from him and all he owned by law. so prince changed his name to something they could not use until he was free to assume his name again.
if you can do trademark a man's name you can murder him just as easily... for the same reason you trademarked his name: PROFITS!

Hefty sales figures. Not surprised since Michael Jackson work sells insanely well. Even before posthumous publications. While alive, his label flooded America with marketing and related products. I remember even the movie, that end up being a musical with a ludicrous yet awesome Mecha Jackson .
