Trash marks another vacant area in a residential neighborhood on 165th St. in Jamaica. They’re sick and tired of the trash in a heavily polluted pocket of Southeast Queens, but sometimes it can be difficult giving a hoot.
Local leaders say that Jamaica, South Jamaica, Hollis and St. Albans suffer from an “epidemic†of derelict lots and a persistent affliction of dumpers. The problem has proven harder then they thought it would be to correct.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
