Zimbabwe Nabs Ex-U.S. Rep on Porn

Mel Reynolds, the former U.S. representative who was convicted in his own country of child pornography charges, has been arrested in Zimbabwe. According to the state-controlled newspaper, The Herald, Reynolds is in police custody for possession of pornography and violating immigration laws. In 1995, he resigned from Congress after he was convicted of 12 counts of statutory rape, obstruction of justice and solicitation of child pornography. The Herald is reporting that in addition to his charges, Reynold accumulated unpaid hotel bills of $24,500.
