Gunmen Seize Crimea's Airport

Armed Russian nationalists, many of whom were masked and in unmarked military uniforms, seized control of the Simferopol airport in Crimea, Ukraine on Thursday. In addition, reports surfaced that Russian naval forces seized the military airport in Sevastopol where the Kremlin leases a base for its Black Sea naval fleet. (Moscow denies a connection.) Checkpoints along the border of Crimea and mainland Ukraine have also reportedly been manned by armed Russians.
