New Delhi, (IANS) Two brothers were shot dead Friday by three people following a scuffle over a minor issue of overtaking a vehicle here, police said.
Sahab Singh, 40, and Kaptan Singh, 35, were shot dead when the vehicle they were travelling in was reportedly stopped near their house at Bawana area by a man in a car at 10.30 a.m.
The man was furious as one of the victims did not allow him to overtake their car.
A neighbour of the victims told police that the duo had left for work and a few metres away from their home, the occupants of a car stopped them and got into a verbal argument over the issue of overtaking.
The men took out weapons and opened fire at the brothers and fled from the scene, police said.
Police said more than 10 round of bullets were shot at them. They were taken to Maharishi Valmiki Hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.
"It was a case of road rage and we have launched a search operation to nab the killers," Joint Commissioner of Police R.S. Krishnia told IANS.
Police said they have identified all the three attackers, who were from the same locality.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
