I can never understand these socialists and dem.  as if they get cold feet ans start to drag when they are in power and lose the plot entirely.

Maduro shud have speeded up the move towards socialism as the riots broke.  all due calculated speed shud be employed to deepen socialism and make it impossible for the country to return to capitalism.

the implementation of the labour theory of value shud be the basis.  the bureaucracy shud be reduced at an ever increasing pace replaced by popular social organisation and labour ownership of the means of production.  Maduro should be expropriating by the minute with the trade unions in tow, implementing labour organisation of production as he goes.

and withing due process of the law he shud be shutting down all the protest and all the violence in the streets after warning the students what was coming:

in your own best interest return to school.  you are protesting over nothing.  you have no programs, plans agenda.  you are into the streets to destailize the country, to prepare it for a coup.  this we will not tolerate.  this is the last day. 

from tomorrow we will be arresting students for you are in breech of the law.  and we will be arresting you under the relevant crimes which are very serious crimes, carying very heavy penalties.

so go back to school and come again if you have legit case and grievance to air that cannot be handled under due process. "

so you  warm then mass the army with heavy water cannon to disable and arrest them all if they came out the next day, charge them with the code they violated, making it stick with the relevant penalties.

let their parents pay.  they knew what they were doing so no need to feel sorry.  they wanted to overthrow the majority, duly elected government, that campaigned on a socialist platform and won

if you want a change of path then go to the polls and seek election.  you can even seek recall of the government and a new election to present your case.  but you cant overthrow it violently outside the law

if all the people get up and overthrow the government that is legal.  so go ask the people to do that based on your case and if they agree you may get your wish.  but if they do not agree with you, as they clearly demonstrate the do not, den cease and desist or continue your fight within the law.

and  Maduro should have thrown the americans out long time now..all their NGOs.  what the hell is he waiting for
