MH370 Debris May Have Sunk
Australia's deputy prime minister said on Friday that the possible debris from Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 may have sunk into the ocean, as the international team hunting for it have not found anything yet. "Something that was floating on the sea that long ago may no longer be floating," said Warren Truss. Satellites had picked up objects five days ago in an area southwest of the city of Perth, an area that has dangerous waters. "It's about the most inaccessible spot that you can imagine on the face of the Earth, but if there is anything down there, we will find it," explained Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbot.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- A satellite image released by China on Saturday offered the latest sign that wreckage from a Malaysia Airlines plane lost for more than two weeks could be in a remote stretch of the southern Indian Ocean where planes and ships have been searching for three days.

[color=rgb(32, 32, 34)]The news that I just received is that the Chinese ambassador received a satellite image of a floating object in the southern corridor and they will be sending ships to verify," Malaysian Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein told reporters Saturday.

I still believe that the plane has safely landed somewhere in the rebel held area in Kachin State, Myanmar.
