President Barack Obama on Wednesday joined the larger Democratic effort to spotlight voting rights ahead of this year’s midterms, blasting “active efforts to deter people from voting.â€
“Apparently it’s fairly active here in Texas,†he told supporters at a Houston fundraiser. “The idea that you’d purposely try to prevent people from voting? Un-American. How is it that we’re putting up with that? We don’t have to.â€

Democrats see a voting rights pitch as another way to drive up midterm turnout among core Obama voters — most prominently African-Americans, but also Latinos, unmarried women, and current and recently graduated college students — the groups, party operatives point out, most at risk from restrictive voting laws.

The question is a simple one; Do Obama/Democrats want honest, verifiable elections, or just say they do? Elections are about factually determining winners and losers; that is the point. They are not supposed to be a guess, we should Know. Done correctly every election in our nation should be required to provide a verifiable, testable and factual answer to the question of 'Who Won'. So why do some want to deny the People fair and honest elections?
Let's look at the facts;
* The 'Right to Vote' is limited in Law; Not every person has a 'Right to Vote'.
* If we cannot identify the individual voter; We cannot validate the individual votes..
* If we cannot validate individual votes; We cannot validate the election result.
* If we cannot Validate election results; We cannot factually know who won the election.
Without the positive identification of all Voters, any election results are at best a guess, and at worst a lie. Is that good enough for you?
Our elections should positively and accurately reflect the will of the American People. Right now they do not.
No matter how they spin it; If they do not want to require that all voters provide positive ID before voting, then they cannot say they support fair and honest elections...because they don't.
