Search on for another Miss Guyana Universe

THE search has commenced for the replacement of Katherina Roshana as ‘Miss Guyana Universe’ to represent this country at the international pageant later in the year.Roshana has been promoting Guyana at every level and making herself known on the world stage, while working with autistic children and has made significant contributions to a number of humanitarian projects.
Hers will be a difficult shoe to fill but her reign will come to an end this year and, if you are a young lady with a passion for modelling, this is an opportunity to make it on the global platform and showcase Guyana.
Applicants must be between the ages 18 and 25 years old and should be between five and six feet in height.
To apply, one must have a copy of their birth certificate, in possession of a valid Guyanese passport and two references.
A date for the local leg of the competition has not been finalised but the winner of the pageant will not only get a chance to represent Guyana at the Miss Universe Pageant but also to win up to $3M cash, a three-week vacation in a foreign country and a four-year tuition at the University of Guyana.
