China Evacuates Workers in Vietnam

China began the evacuation of thousands of its citizens from Vietnam as two passenger ships arrived at the coast on Monday. Last week, two Chinese workers were killed and 140 were injured after an anti-China mob overran several factories. The government deployed the ships to collect citizens from a complex that employees 3,000 Chinese. The recent tensions between China and Vietnam are due to the deployment of a Chinese oil rig in a disputed area of the South China Sea.
