On Sunday night, the San Antonio Spurs proved revenge is a dish best served cold. They dominated the NBA Finals to freeze back-to-back defending champions the Miami Heat in their tracks. In the fifth game of the series, the Spurs cruised to a 104-87 victory over LeBron James and the Heat. Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard earned the Most Valuable Player award, nabbing 29 points for his team in the third game against the Heat. It was redemption for the Spurs, who lost to the Heat in the finals last year. The team had a 14-point average margin of victory for each game of the NBA Finals (even with a loss), which was a championship series record. “It just makes the journey even more worth it. It was worth all the pain,†said the Spurs’ Tony Parker. “It’s so sweet to win a championship the way we did.â€

Well, congratulations to the Spurs even though I am 100% Pro-Heat. Actually, I am a LeBron fan period. So it doesn't matter what team LeBron is on as I will pull for him to win. While the Spurs is a great team, I can't help but notice for the entire NBA season how LeBron had to practically carry the Heats to the final. It was like watching one man playing against an entire team. What is the point of Dwayne Wade? He sits out most of the time and I don't find him to be a valuable player whatsoever. I see LeBron as the ENTIRE team and the coach as well. Heck, the Heat's coach looks to LeBron for what to do next and I'm not trying to be cruel with that remark. I don't want to go on a rant, but I find it disappointing that the best player in the whole NBA League is on a team who do not equally give 100%. That's just my perspective.
