Carmelo Anthony will file notice with Knicks on Monday. he will opt out

that was as clear as day..to be anticipated given that Jackson immediately played Carmelo for the ass on arriving in New York.

Jacksons attitude made it clear he did not want anthony around..but threw the ball into anthonys court to leave so that he would not be blamed for 'loosing' him.

anthony does not care about the publics perception of his 'opting-out.  he does no want to work for jackson and thats fine.  it would not be advisable for him  to stay where he is not wanted.

Jackson attitude to Carmelo has been pure low ball, low dodge games.  I am glad Carmelo is walking.  he will end up in Chicago most likely..the best spot for him, from where be can beat up on the Knicks for the next 5 tears

I'm not all that surprise Carmelo will opt out of his contract. The Knicks had a rough season and I wonder who will take him onto their team. I remember years ago when Carmelo stated he would have an NBA championship before LeBron James. Fast forward to 2014 and James have 2 NBA rings under his belt while Carmelo is still waiting for his first ring. It's not always good to say aloud what you feel about another's person potential in the same field as you. I wonder if Miami Heat will take Carmelo. That would mean LeBron may have to take a pay cut. Carmelo could be an asset to the Heat considering Wade's knees are practically no good. I will wait and see how this scenario will play out.
