The tragic tale of a 3-year-old girl who was disfigured in a pit bull attack being asked to leave a KFC in Mississippi was a hoax, sources with knowledge of the investigation told a local newspaper. According to the grandmother of Victoria Wilcher, the family sat down to eat at a local KFC and were told that the young girl's face was scary to customers. The story, which has resulted in $135,000 in donations and nationwide outrage against KFC, cannot be corroborated by surveillance footage or transaction records, according to a source. The family has not commented yet on the allegations.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

I'm not all that surprise. I don't put much stock into certain news stories I read nowadays because there's always more to the story. Sometimes, the situation could be a hoax. The family will likely face charges for making up such a story or at least have to return the money. I can't stand it when people tell lies just to get a quick buck. You can cause damage to other people's lives. There are too many cases of innocent civilians serving life sentences in prison or on death row due to lies told on them.

I really hope it was hoax as it was horrible story to read about. It made me even think twice about KFC to be honest. At the time, i couldnt believe they would do this to this girl but this news that it could be a hoax is a good thing to be honest. Story was everywhere.

KFC completed its own investigation. They also hired an independent investigator who couldn't find any truth in the little girl's story.
Yet, that little girl was injured by a dog. She was mauled by a viscous dog that her parents owned. Her face was sos damaged that story seemed credible. That's why I believed the story.
