SCHENECTADY -- Police have arrested three people, including a mother and son, for their roles in setting fire to a vacant home in May. Sardawatie Beedasee, 42, and Romal Ramgadoo, 21, were both charged with arson, along with a 14-year-old who is not being identified due to his age. Authorities say Beedasee, who owns the home that was set on fire, instructed her son to hire someone to set the fire in order to collect insurance money. Ramgadoo allegedly hired the 14-year-old boy to set fire to the vacant property at 66/68 Linen Street..
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Someone was making a case for them. Said that the Schenectady authorities lured people to invest there, not letting them know that there were no jobs etc. So many people invested their savings, could not make a living there and had no way to get back their money.
So, lady felt that this was her way of getting back hers.
