Fifa general secretary Jerome Valcke has called on Luis Suarez to seek treatment after being found guilty of biting an opponent for a third time.
Suarez bit Giorgio Chiellini during Uruguay's 1-0 win over Italy on Tuesday and has been banned from all football-related activity for four months by world football's governing body.
"He should go for treatment," Valcke said. "It's definitely wrong.
"The first time, it's an incident. More than once, it is not."
International players' union FIFPro called for Suarez to "receive all the support he needs".
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
