An employee of Germany's BND foreign intelligence agency has been arrested on suspicion of spying for the United States.
The man, who is German, is said to have admitted passing to an American contact details about a special German parliamentary committee set up to investigate the spying revelations made by former US intelligence contractor Edward Snowden, Reuters reports.
Ties with Washington were damaged by revelations last year of mass surveillance of German citizens by the US National Security Agency, including the monitoring of Chancellor Angela Merkel's mobile phone.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

I'm not all that bother by the news of the double agent being arrested. I'm more disgusted with Edward Snowden purposefully exposing secrets and being anointed as some hero. What he did wasn't unique. You have many individuals from the past, starting really in the late 1960s with Vietnam War Protests and Civil Rights Movement who have made the same revelations. Their voices were unheard. As for Germany being upset at the spy revelation, I say get over it. It's no secret that countries spy on other countries. No one fully trust anyone and is always watching over their backs.
