Israel Arrests 6 in Palestine Teen Death

Israeli authorities have arrested six people in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Mohammed Abu Khdeir. Police have not publicly confirmed any information about the suspects or their motives. However, unnamed officers speaking to Israeli media have indicated the attack was fueled by extreme nationalism and a desire for revenge for the abduction and murder of three Israeli teens whose bodies were discovered last week. Khdeir appeared to have been burned alive when he was found Wednesday, Following his death, thousands of Palestinians gathered in East Jerusalem to call for a third intifada. Riots and open fire broke out over the weekend, leading to the arrest of over 20 people.

This is hard to even think about. I read about the imploding situation in Israel last week after the bodies of the 3 Israeli teens were found. I am disturbed because no one knows who was behind the murder of the 3 teens from Israel. There was simply an immediate assumption the perpetrators had to be Palestinian. And as a result an innocent Palestinian teenager lost his life. Another Palestinian teenager lost his life in a riot 2 weeks ago. So in total we have 5 dead children and for what? Because adults can't seem to come to an agreement on how to live peacefully and respectfully within their own rightful territory.
