Pan-Africanism as an ethical system traces its origins from ancient times, and promotes values that are the product of the African civilization and the struggles against slavery, racism, colonialism, and neo-colonialism

Well this is no surprise. Most nonblack people tend to dismiss Pan-Africanism as irrelevant and summarize it as angry black people who hate whites. At least that's the basic and elementary interpretation here in America from those who are ignorant about it. This couldn't be further from the truth. Pan-Africanism is an ideology used by many black leaders around the world to sustain them in challenging times of discrimination. It was very much use as ideas to promote programs and change within countries around the world to free themselves and stand against a systemic practice of racism and injustices.
