HERE IS A BREAKDOWN OF MONTHLY EXPENSE ON AFFAIRS:

The following list reveals the average spend per item per month:

Hotel Bills – $123---looks like guys have their affairs at cheap Motel 6. ;D
Dinner & Drink Tabs – $162
Gifts – $54
Date activities e.g. cinema tickets – $69
Other – $36


QUESTION:

If someone told you outright that the financial cost of your six-month affair would be over $2,600, on average, would you be more or less likely to do it?

According to these 1930s photos, you're probably doing it all wrong Time uncovered a stunning series of images of burlesque stars called "How A Wife Should Undress." The photos originally appeared in a 1937 issue of LIFE magazine. According to LIFE, the photos were taken at a class at the Allen Gilbert School of Undressing. Women were told that "many a marriage ends in divorce court because the wife grows sloppy and careless in the bedroom." The best way for a woman to disrobe, according to Gilbert, was "neatly sliding her dress down over her hips and gracefully stepping out of it."

Marriage essentially legalized your claim to your wife as property.  If she is your property then you have exclusive rights to her and no other man has any claim (legal or otherwise) to her including, but not limited to, her father.
