Yesterday took his seat on the  bench only to get his heart broken. So now his back and heart is both broken.

He'll be back.  Qualifying starts in a couple of years time. 8)  All they need to do is fire that idiot Scolari, get some proper defenders to help out Silva, and bring back the samba and flair to their game.


And for what it's worth Neymar outshone Messi in the WC even though he played less games. 8)

Just heard today Fred retired.  Good riddance!


But unless and until they get rid of Scolari that Brazil team ain't going anywhere fast; with, or without, Neymar.

For me Fred represented the complete anti-thesis of Brazilian football.  No creativity, no flair, no imagination.

He scored a ton of goals in 2013 but those were against relative weak oppositions.  He relies on guys like Willian, Oscar, and Hulk to create openings and yawing nets for him to score.
