NEW YORK - A federal judge on Wednesday ordered Bank of America Corp to pay $1.27 billion of damages after a federal jury found the second-largest U.S. bank liable for fraud over defective mortgages sold by its Countrywide unit.

Looks like Bank of America is following the lead from Walls Fargo, a company with a known record of mortgage fraud against low income people. I'm not surprise but more numb to learn yet another conglomerate engage in fraudulent business practices to fatten their pocket books. The disgusting part is they do these actions at the expense of citizens who may be on the verge of losing a home.
