(Reuters) - Police officers in Ferguson, Missouri, have begun wearing body cameras after weeks of unrest over the shooting death of an unarmed black teen by a white officer and sharply differing accounts of the incident, officials said on Sunday.
Michael Brown, 18, was shot multiple times by Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson on Aug. 9, sparking nearly three weeks of angry protests in the St. Louis suburb and drawing global attention to race relations in the United States.
Law enforcement and witnesses gave differing accounts of what transpired before Brown was shot, with police saying the teen had struggled with the officer. Witnesses say Brown held up his hands and was surrendering when he was shot multiple times in the head and chest.
The discrepancy has revived calls for officers across the county to be outfitted with body cameras to help capture an accurate record of police-involved incidents.
The policy has the support of scores of law enforcement agencies and the American Civil Liberties Union. Opponents say the cameras could be an invasion of privacy and deter people from approaching police with a tip.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

It doesn't matter. Corruption will continue to run rampant in Ferguson. I read a disturbing story of a police officer contemplating on setting up a "kill" with a black teen in a troubled neighborhood. His reason? He wanted his employees and boss to acknowledge him for his work and to make a quick half a million dollars. He had it planned out too. He would make it look questionable, gather up support from his community and around the world and had enormous faith in the jury finding him not guilty. After all, it seems when you kill a black teenage boy, you can expect at least $500,000 to $1,000,000 in donations. And no, I'm not making this up. If I find the link to that story, I'll post it here. Of course his plot was foil and he was dealt with last week. Nevertheless, this sort of thinking is going around since people have seen the money Brown's murderer has accumulated or what George Zimmerman was able to do with manipulating the media last year.

Greatest country on earth my butt, the US in terms of civil liberties and social infrastructures, are severly lacking, its amazing that a country can spend billions a year on wars and "security" half a world away, but can't ensure the safety of its own nationals in its own back yard...
